That's quite a bit worse than how we were welcomed to the neighborhood. About 3:30AM we are woken up by some dealer emptying an entire load (17 shots in all) into our neighbor's house. Turned out they were rival drug dealers.

But, being Milwaukee, the police never showed up. The next morning we called them again and said there were 17 casings on the sidewalk and are they going to send an investigator to collect them? There response was (and I quote): "We'll call you back if we want them."

Glad that house was sold shortly after that.

I'm Sooooo glad we have near the highest property taxes in the country. I guess it takes a lot of cash to train dispatchers to say that.

Reminds me of good old Flint, MI. I can't wait until I graduate and never have to go back to that wretched place.

There's actually a former drug house like right down the block here, and there's usually a swarm of cops after some action. Yay score one for Anchorage. Cops are everywhere and they don't arrest anyone.

Stay in East side Detroit and Flint is no big deal.

You may rethink that after rolling down Pasadena or Dayton Ave anytime after nightfall.....

I have had some interesting experiences in Flint. Everything from guns to car-jackings to drive by's to seeing someone stabbed with a screwdriver. Interesting things happen when people have nothing to lose.

It gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling inside when you are followed when walking back from class by a man with a pitbull in a bullet-proof vest. The dog had the vest, not the dude.
