Lug nuts comparison

From what I can gather, the lug nuts on the SVX are M12x1.25 (12mm across with 1.25 thread pitch), correct? I found a set of 17x8 +45 Mustang wheels, but their lug nuts are 1/2"-20.

So my question is, how do the lug holes on the Mustang wheels compare to the SVX wheels? I'm assuming the wheel stud on the SVX is 12mm across, and the Mustang ones are 1/2". When I do the metric conversion, 12mm is 15/32, which is 1/32 smaller than the Mustang. Or put another way, 1/2" is 12.7mm, which to me seems fairly insignificant.

Based on this, is it safe to assume the SVX lug nuts will work on the slightly larger holes in the Mustang wheels?
