My "What was I thinking?" purchase.
Ever buy something then when you get it home ask your sell "What was I thinking?" Well I did last night. and here they are.
This one is about 4ft tall and 6ft long. This one is about 3ft by 6ft. This is about 3ft by 3ft. And finally this on is about 2.5 ft by 3.5ft I have no room to hang them anywhere and I paid $225 for them all. They looked alot small sitting out side in the parking lot were I bought them. |

I felt that way after buying my second SVX until I drove it enough to know it wasn't a dog. Now I'm very pleased to have two.
Hey, if you've just got money burning a hole in your pocket I've got a couple of cars that could use a paint job... dcb |

Neat wall hangings - if you don't have room, think ebay. You might even make some money on the deal. As for your bar, how about a "half" of an SVX hanging from your bar wall - wouldn't that be SOMETHING!!!! And ALL of the Network would be on your doorstep for the opening - I bet Trevor and SVXISTENTIALIST would be there!!!! Harry

Do you guys get Harp in the USA? It is an Irish lager, brewed in Dundalk about 50 miles north of me. At one time I drank nothing else. Now I drink Budweiser mostly, my old stomach is less able for a full frontal assault! I imagine Trevor is correct, they are made specifically for themed pubs. Joe

I wasnt even thinking about collectables, I just liked them. And yes Harp is sold someplaces, but I'm sure it doesnt hold a candle to the Harp sold in other countries. (Stupid US restrictions on beer alcohol levels)

I think you just hang them and you have a story about them. Or you could make up a story saying your grandfather had a bar and he left you those...

You should visit Quebec up here, try some of their scary stuff. 16% is one company's "normal" beer. I believe they have a 21% brew. Scary stuff. Tastes like pure, undiluted battery acid. From a cheap battery.

And you got me on the Chef thingys, we don't have them here Alan. As the old saying goes, "When in Rome..." , I've no doubt I would eat in MacDonald's, just like the locals do. Budweiser is made for Ireland by Guinness here in Dublin. So my two draft beers of choice are Guinness or Budweiser depending. You gotta know Guinness, so if the Guinness looks good, that's what I have. If I want a light beer, it will be Budweiser. A friend of mine works in Guinness in the production side. He thinks Budweiser is weak p***, but says that of all the beers they brew, Bud has the tightest production specification tolerances. I did not know that until he told me, but that is what I like about it. It is light on flavour OK, but is a quality brew. Joe
