Re: so close to being mine

Problem is you need them in sets of 4. One new tire does you no good unless you can find 3 same make and size . The 3 used tires you need another with the same size and wear. VERY important . Rims are good . Should be easy to find another stock one . Will give you the option of painting them a different color. Now get that camera out

Re: so close to being mine

Sweet, I'm liking the spoilerless look on the Silver. Nice to see another neglected one make it to a new proud owner.

LSL yes leather seats, I'll have pics in a bit, freezing cleaning it out.
vacuum sucks or should i say doesn't suck so no vacuuming could be done.

next is to clear the oxidation on the headlights, gonna do that after i warm up.

Re: so close to being mine

It looks a lot better than the last time I saw it . Are both sides rusted the same . The doors look good . I would check inside the door ( remove the panels ) Make sure it didn't start to rust ) Very typical amount of rust for a 92. Glad you saved it . Keep in touch . leather interior right ?

If I recall, a LSL w/o spoiler is uncommon. So that's neat.

I second the notion of checking for rust inside the doors. Remove the inside door panel, it's very easy. There are two obvious screws toward the front, one more under the door handle (you'll have to remove the wood grain piece under the handle, don't use a screwdriver, you'll scratch it), and the two big screws under the felt in the pocket (there's another smaller screw that doesn't need to be removed toward the front). Then you can poke around in the door and check for rust.

Also check under the spare tire in the trunk.

Re: so close to being mine

i peeked behind the door on the passenger side.

its not the original door, it was off another svx that was white.

behind the outer plastic (which i do not like) has rust starting, this is on the passenger side.

this poor svx has been abused.

here is a ride for you guys, enjoy the music !

Re: so close to being mine

I never saw the tach go above 3,000. Is my computer just to slow ?
So the questions were: is it leather seats ? Is the rust the same on both sides . I tell you it sounds and looks like a better car than I thought it was . Looks like you may have picked a good one .
Is the rear package shelf missing ?
