Wow! 16,000 miles for real? That makes it the lowest mileage of a known SVX I think.

Wow! Congrats and great find. Regarding wheels, I would tend towards a GT car look, not a sports racer, more refined IMHO.

Good to hear from you. Hope you have recovered from your injury. Now that Y.T. is not so active with SVX's, may need some help from you. Going to keep this one much more stock. Afraid my Emerald Pearl was just a little bit too over the top to be that enjoyable for day to day driving. Probably going to do the same suspension do-over, Ground Control/Koni's, if I can find modified struts, maybe a little softer (300 fr., 250 r.), and bushings, but not hard top-mounts (way too harsh), also will probably be adding Longassname's latest chip. Keeping it automatic so other family members can drive it. Still have the 911 Turbo S cabrio, when I need a real shot of adrenalin.

Hopefully this one will get rid of scar tissue causing my left ring finger not to work.
But, Hey congratulations on your new SVX!
Your plan sounds like it would be a nice, driveable, ENJOYABLE SVX.
As I drive my Claret more, 450/350 is GREAT on the highways, but not as much on pot holes.

I'm not sure koni/ground control is much of an option these days.
But there are options, including using STi coil overs and having the top mount made at a machine shop if you don't want to drill your strut towers (which I would not want) I just want to say no matter how you go about it good luck and enjoy the car.

Thanks for the welcome. Not sure about Reading. May drive up for Saturday. AMR Engineering seems to make a coil-over kit for the SVX that is reasonable. Will have to go back over old posts to get back in the swing of things. $15 - 15 minute rear subframe bushing mod. Phenolic spacers. Under drive pulleys. Smallcar shift kit. So much detail to re-learn. Hopefully will soon have YT back in the field.

Be warned AMR has taken a very long time to ship their kit, and one person found out the hard way the adjustment knob on the front strut stuck up too high and dimpled the hood when they closed it.

Thanks for the advice. A lot of data to be gathered before pulling the tigger on anything. Dimpled the hood on my emerald with my Ground Control coil-overs when I had the stock elastomeric top-mounts. They are too flexible to work with ultra- stiff springs. If you're going with +300 lb front springs you need something stiffer than the stock mounts. The K-macs hard-mounts that YT installed were way too harsh though. You could feel every pebble you ran across. Will be looking for a compromise.

Ceika still offers coilovers, and the front strut adjuster knobs won't dent your hood.

Picked up the car yesterday. It is in great shape. There are same paint issues on the roof and both rear view mirrors, but otherwise it is in almost new condition. Interior is in great shape. Car drives like it is new. Very tight. At about 70 mph there is a slight shimmy in the front. Probably either a wheel balance issue or flat-spotted tires from sitting too long. Whichever will be fixed when I get the new wheels. There was only one security fob. If anyone has one to sell, I'm interested. Here is a the new SVX lined up with its stablemates.
