Reading 14 Dinner, Sat 4/20

We will be having the Saturday Night dinner at the Heritage Restaurant. The Heritage is less than a mile north of the hotel on Route 10. They will have a limited menu set up with sandwich choices under $10 and dinners up to $25.

We don't need to pre-order or buy tickets, but I would like to be able to let them know whether they will be getting about 20 people or about 60. So if you think you will be joining us please sign up here with you name and number of guests.

Any other questions?

Dave, thanks for doing this. I was just lucky to find a restaurant last year on Sat am, with a manager who was willing to pull in more help after I got back with a questionable estimate of 6-35 people. But I do think the menu was too pricey for many last year, and I was hoping there would be a better alternative this year. I think it's great when we can all get together for din-din!

'64 Studebaker Daytona, red w/rag top; part of the Presidential Parade (as in DC) & probably why my right ear rings
'71 Mercedes 280 SEL; a partial restoration that always rode like a limo
'72 Datsun 240Z; simply fun, and the #2 sports car of the '70s
'73 Plymouth Scamp w/a small V-8; cute, and the faster I drove, the better the MPG
'90 Acura Legend; the last year of the first sports sedan, terrific handling plus comfy touring

Nancy, You have done a great job the past couple of years with getting a dinner together last second. No criticism has ever been meant toward you or the restaurant choices or pricing. We wanted to have it planned out so that you weren't put on the spot yet again and this way everyone has a much better idea and plan of what's going on for the weekend.

No problem at all, Nate, and thanks for the good words. I love having the SVX crowd together, so did my earth mother thing, but I didn't know enough to find the perfect restaurant - if there even is one.

It's so good to have a plan for events, this time. Dave and his helpers are my heroes, for everything, this year!

I just spoke with the restaurant, they are going to add a few appetizers. I told him we will be arriving between 6 and 6:30.
