4.11 swap - aftermath

Well, my mechanic buttoned up the car yesterday and I took her out driving. Everything seems fine, no binding around corners, FIRM shifts compared to my slipping stockbox, and ACCELERATION

Seems I'm having one issue: when letting hammering the gas or letting off the gas at highway speeds, there is a loud rattle coming from the center of the car. Im HOPING its just loose exhaust shields... thoughts?

Its a REALLY noticeable scraping/grinding rattle, if it helps, it also does it as soon as I turn the key to start her up

If not the heat shields it COULD be the Torque Converter bolts being loose. They make ugly noises. They're also not a huge deal to check.

how should i got about checking them? pictures or diagrams would help.

my mechanic reused the torque convertor from the 4.11 trans... is that going to be a problem down the road? or will it be fine if I don't romp the car

This will most probably lead to transmission overheating when the weather is hot.

You should ONLY use SVX torque converters, or 4,44 torque converters, and THOSE only with 4.44 transmissions.
