And this is what I drove down with

Isn't there a old song that says something about "I've been picking up good vibrations" or something along those lines? I was picking up lots of vibrations on the trip down but obviously as the picture shows they weren't good ones.

[QUOTE=sicksubie;504633]Yt was the fastest SVX there. The fastest time I saw was a 49.9?? turned by a 06-07 STi. The Shelby Cobras and the prepared (aka tralilered in) cars were all turning 50.5's-53.0's. YT ran a 54.5 I think? I have shot rear struts, shot rear strut mounts, shot front driver-side strut, and 160k old bushings. Not making excuses though. It was my first auto-x and my inexperience hurt my time more than any suspension issues. My times were 72.323, 62.121, 61.521, 57.999, 57.749. I am very happy with those and also happy that I went down every time. Now I can't wait until next spring for the season to start. I will be doing a lot of this next year.

They say, ( WHOEVER THEY are), that you should never 'mod' more than 1 thing at a time on a race car, so you can tell if it worked or hurt the car. Some of our 'post Ripken' mods worked like a charm. Others need more 'refining'. There were 5 'experiments' on the tarmac saturday.

I will let it up to Tom to divulge or keep secret, the mods.

I will say that I lost 9 degrees of camber during the afternoon. I'm not sure when it happened, but it felt like I was driving on ice.

2 of the 'trouble' spots from saturday were absent on sunday! I wish I would have signed up for both days!

Autocross is a legal testing ground for you and your car!

Get good at it and join us in may! I may be driving the 'secret weapon' subi by then.

And a GREAT time was had by ALL!!

Unless someone threw some bottles away.
Not counting beer and other spirits.
Spirits were high!
