Lotus is back.
Do want. I'm not liking the Elise concept so much, but the others are amazing. The Eterne Sedan looks like some sort of Lambo/Aston-Martin crossbreed.
Elan concept http://www.autoblog.com/2010/09/30/p...ns-the-crowds/ Eterne Hybrid Sedan http://www.autoblog.com/2010/09/30/p...sedan-concept/ Elise http://www.autoblog.com/2010/09/30/l...pt-paris-2010/ Esprit http://www.autoblog.com/2010/09/30/p...-revival-of-a/ All of them on steroids...lol

Re: Lotus is back.
Elan: It's a bit Lambo-y.
Eterne: It's a bit Vanquish-y and Infiniti from the rear. Elise: Seems a bit FT-HS-ish. Espirit: Way Lambo-y.

I do too, and I get to see a red one just about every day.

Re: Lotus is back.
Lotus is dead. Long live Lotus.
"Simplify and add lightness" is one of my favorite quotes of all time. I can't wait to see their Carbon Fiber Battery Packs on the hybrid. Hopefully they're in the back to balance out that 5.0L boat anchor, cause if this front heavy AWD car understeers like an SVX then it doesn't deserve the Lotus badge. Something else has been bugging me lately. I almost brought it up in the Audi Quattro thread. Why do all of the manufacturers only make one front fascia at a time? That Audi would really benefit from having a boxier front end with taller headlights, but it has to wear the R8's front bumper. Now Lotus has simply taken the front clip (trunk) from the outgoing Lambos and slapped it on everything they make. I can't tell the difference between the new Outback and Forrester without looking at the profile. Every Ford has that stupid electric shaver up front, and don't even get me going on Acura. I'm glad the SVX didn't have the same grill as the Legacy, even if I'm still not sure about the waterfall light. Sorry to rant. Here's a picture of my favorite Lotus. One of these days I'm gonna make one.

Re: Lotus is back.
I agree. There was a dark green one that would occasionally stop by the HyVee I used to work at. Had a really nice shot of the svx next to it, but it has since disappeared Can't say I necessarily like any of those concepts...what bothers me the most are the ones with the centered exhaust tips, that whole idea never caught on with me..

Re: Lotus is back.
Well, except for the one...
The best part about the earlier Esprit is, if you blow one up, you get another one.
