Re: SVX poly suspension bushes

Re: SVX poly suspension bushes

Please update for those that have installed these bushings. This is my next purchase if they are good!

Not yet, they're still sitting in the garage waiting for me. This coming week will be my last week of school prior to graduation, so it's a bit hectic. But once school is done, I have a lot of different areas I'm going to tackle over the course of the summer.

Short list:
poly bushings
konis/dayle's springs
brake fluid/pads
plugs
second hand stebro exhaust
wheel bearings...

and of course:
6-speed swap

Also I may attempt to have something fabbed up for a group buy (thinking like aluminum drive-shaft or something).

Keep in mind these are all parts I have already accumulated over the past semester, not wish list type things.

I think I will probably tackle the bushings soon so that I can give y'all some feedback. The suspension is a high priority for me though, what with my cut front springs.

I have to take my flywheel to be resurfaced, so I'm going to ask about having a few made. If it's not insanely expensive, I'll post it here to gauge interest. Seems like there is definitely interest though. Problem will most likely be cost.

You got your tracking number from Chris, right man?

If not, I have it and you can check it on USPS.

Re: SVX poly suspension bushes

Wow, didnt proofread my last post as yall can plainly see. Just checked my email and I do have a tracking number. Package left poland may the 6th, in transit now no eta as of yet.... but I'd expect late next week to be realistic. Boy i cant wait, I've got a torn swaybar bushing and the racket it makes is god awful. I'm embarassed to drive by pedestrians now....theyre always staring...but then again they always are with this car

Re: SVX poly suspension bushes

I haven't even gotten to these yet but don't see anything in the manual for replacement. If I had to guess the old ones have to be burned out or pressed out then new ones pressed in and metal collar tube inserted correct? If thats it I may decide to do one just for a how to if anyone confirms and is interested.

Never hurts to have a how-to.
