Re: Need a part of radiator
The end tank of the rad has a crack? If so you have to replace the whole thing, the plastic parts can't be replaced separately.

Re: Need a part of radiator
You can repair it short term with some JB weld or magnum steel putty. But it won't last very long. I had one last about a year like this. The plastic is weakened when it cracks and it will soon crack again.

Re: Need a part of radiator
The plastic can be removed and reinstalled but trust me it isn't worth the trouble. Took me 5 or 6 hours to do it for an xt6.

Re: Need a part of radiator
Not,
You're much better off with a new radiator as for someone to be willing to ship you a used bad radiator with a good plastic bottom will surely cost you mostly in shipping. It takes a good 2 hours to remove the plastic on a side mounted rad like the XT6 probably 3-4 hours on an SVX which of course is on the bottom and also longer. That's asking a heck of a lot for someone to attempt and there aren't any promises they won't damage it removing it. If you already have sourced one locally they I'd say it might be worth the trouble but if not I really don't think you'll make out and you won't be happy with the results long term. If buying a new Subaru one is too pricy there are other aftermarket options.

Re: Need a part of radiator
Don't give up on the jb weld idea though if it is cracked you have nothing to loose. Take a drill to the endes of the crack with say a 1/8" drill bit to keep it from cracking more, scuff it up REALLY good then clean it up really good, better yet to widen the crack a bit to get jb in there. Or just buy a used one from someone here and then you have yours for parts!

Re: Need a part of radiator
Not you have three options:
- Fix yours as benebob told you. - Buy a used one from the network. - Buy a new one off ebay. I do not recommend you get a used plastic part and try to fix yours with it, unless it is new. A used plastic part might be "dried" and is prone to cracking.
