This is the only one I have. http://serial.cc/

Does anyone know right off hand if Chilton or Haynes makes a book for our cars?

The original FSMs are still available through Subaru. I believe Mike621 can post the part number. They're pricey, but worth it if you're doing your own work.

I use mine at least once a week.

These FSMs only provide info for the LHD svx, but much of the information is still applicable.

I have a set of six RHD manuals, which came from Japan via a member in Australia. They are available from Japan, but Subaru in Auckland do not have them for their own reference.

Not specifically. There is, I believe, a Haynes book that blanket covers all subarus for a time period which includes the SVX. It has some, but very little usefull info about our cars.

I have a "how to" in my signature as to the R&R of our transmissions.
