Re: What have you done to your SVX (or other Subaru) today?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Picked up the SVX from the mechanic (Thank you for the recommendation dann). All the exhaust components are connected to each other like they are supposed to be again. I can drive without ending up with my ears ringing plus I get to hear all the creaks and squeaks again (suspension work may need to be next on the list). He also replaced the power steering return pipe so I don't need to fill the fluid every time I stop (start actually).

I am also really liking the black top and spoiler with the red.. now just to make the leap and get the rest repainted.

Re: What have you done to your SVX (or other Subaru) today?

I still have the option to do that once I decide which way I like it better. The spoiler and roof were in desparate need of new paint. The hood is a close second, but I need to figure out if I am changing reds first.

I just kept the stock Barcelona red and added the tri-coat black metallic for the top. Stock colors look nice when there not 15-20 yrs old.

Re: What have you done to your SVX (or other Subaru) today?

rear SEATS came out ok. The seats are getting less wrinkled as the leather softens. These were taken right after I installed them. They look better now

Re: What have you done to your SVX (or other Subaru) today?

Put in the 3rd aftermarket fuel pump! Airtex lasted 9mo., failed, Advanced auto upgraded me to Bosch in April. The Bosch just failed, Advanced gave me new one, working so far, but going to "stock" a Walbro just in case!

Re: What have you done to your SVX (or other Subaru) today?

I contemplated driving it off a cliff.

I'm done driving it.

Seriously.
