Actually, Young Tom CD drew blood from Nick about four years ago, the day we got him.
CD had been kept in one of those 6'X12' cages, never let out to run, and had never climed stairs before we got him.
Now he lives on a 10' X 32' deck, and regularly goes to run free in the Potomic River to catch sticks, and dig up rocks from the river bottom.
It finally quit raining last night, and Di and I (mostly Di)got to lay our first row of block.

Correction: first half row of block (actually more like 2/3). We (I) would have continued except we ran out of daylight. Even with using the car headlights for lighting, I could barely see the mortar joints to strike them.

Two more short days (or one long one) and the single row of block will be done. Let's hope the rain continues to abate.

BTW, I have definitely decided I don't want to lay block for a living!

I spoke with Tom@Advance Auto yesterday to order my engine hoist and he now says the Lift will be installed on the 19TH!!!
