Ah, ok. Well, it would have been interesting if you were seeing something different than what I described.

Re: Perrin Light Crank Pulley

This thread... is completely useless.
The amount of fighting and bickering in it amazes me.

Here I was thinking, yeah, that thread called "Perrin Light Crank Pulley" with the 100+ comments, that must be the thread I want to read.

I feel bad for the next guy that comes to this thread looking for info on Perrin Light Crank Pulley.
This thread is nothing but another tevor dick waving contest...

More and more I understand why you banned this guy.

Re: Perrin Light Crank Pulley

The crafty bit is, in saying that the pulley shouldn't offer a difference that a butt dyno can experience, he defies the popular (and unfounded) opinion, even while his take on the whole thing makes a hell of a lot of sense.

With a pulley's small mass and respectively tiny moment of inertia, it easily gets lost among the wheels and tires, shafts, transaxle, engine spinny bits, and resistance from compression, friction, and energy transfer.

With hesitation in fear of persecution, I agree with Trevor. It's a placebo, at best. It's nice and shiny, though.

Sorry, guys... Physics makes the rules.

Without reading all bickering and other in this I would like to point out(maybe its been pointed out before if so I apologize) the benefit is in the quicker spin up of the engine, even if it does not equate to quicker take off that rpm getting up into power band quicker should be noticeable.

My thoughts exactly. I was barely sixteen when this argument happened. I wish I had an SVX then.
