I have a hood scoop on my Laguna Blue and it is a carbon fiber hood. I like the scoop on it. It is functional and does cool the engine. It is not too big, so it give it a little more agressive look as well. Just my opinion. You can see the hood scoop here.

When we get cold up here we just throw on an extra layer or a hoodie and gloves. When it is 95 degrees with 85% humidity you can guys can take off as many layers as you want and go naked and you will still be hot.
Plus, think of the hp robbing hot air that your motor has to swallow versus the cold dense air we have.
