It looks like this is turning out to be a WEEKEND event. Any of you who want to spend the night are welcome, or pick which day you want to come. (Kind of like Reading ).

For those of you for whom camping out holds no thrill (myself included, btw), there are several motels within 10 miles of here if you want to sleep INDOORS. Prices range from $75.00/night for a small room (one double bed) with just a shower (and Continental Breakfast included) at a very nice Best Western to $239.00/night for a deluxe room (one King or two Queen beds) at Rocky Gap Resort. I'd suggest you make reservations, as you never know around here how quickly rooms fill up when there is an autocross, especially if there is also something else going on that weekend. So far, I don't know of any other events, but who knows?

Let me know if anyone wants me to check further.

I've slept in Subarus before! The worst night ever in a car was when The Wife,3 daughters ( 13,7 and 2), and myself spent a rainey night in a 65 CUDA! Our tent got flooded so we 'tarped' the tuna and climbed in!

(Tom, do you think your neighbors would mind a 'live band'?)

I guess we could invite them!

Also, Your new neighbor's father works with me at Transit! (Found out today.)
UPDATE; The band is booked for sat after the autocross. ROCK N" ROLL!!

I only got them for 2 hours 'cause they have another gig at 10; pm.

Thanks, Jerry.
Do they know any Doors songs?

This is the end,
beautiful friend, the end,
this is the end,
my only friend, the end,
of our elaborate plan, the end,
of everything that stands, the end,
it hurts to set you free,
cause you'll never follow me,
the end of laughter and soft life,
this is the end....

You know, happy fun stuff, like that.

Can you picture what will be
So limitless and free
Desperately in need...of some...stranger's hand
In a...desperate land

Yeah, happy fun stuff....

I might have to look at the 'list' and pick a few tunes. I MIGHT go with a little HAPPIER songs than Jim M wrote. How about some Jethro Tull?? " Snot is running down his nose, Greasey fingers smearing shabby clothes"?

How about;
"The killer awoke before dawn,
he put his boots on,
and he,
walked on down the hall,
he took a face from the anchient gallery,
and he,
walked on down the hall..."

I'll just stop there.

We don't have a sprinkler, but we could send the dog out to "sprinkle" on you.

Or would that be "tinkle"?

When I was in college, my suitemates and I used to do a version of "Stupid Human Tricks" My trick involved a Doors song "When the Music's Over"

"We Want the World and We Want it Now"

guitar interlude exactly 6.9 seconds long

"NOOWWWW"

Between the two "Nows", I would drink 2 cans of beer.
