the payoff in engine cooling is probably not worth it, but if you think it looks good and its actually functional, go for it. The only reason I wouldn't do any major exterior mods is this: with a drag coefficient of 0.29, you can only mess things up

I have a hood scoop on my Laguna Blue and it is a carbon fiber hood. I like the scoop on it. It is functional and does cool the engine. It is not too big, so it give it a little more agressive look as well. Just my opinion. You can see the hood scoop here.

If you want a scoop grafted on you have to ask for it, pick one out, and pay extra. The big advantage is that they weigh less than half the 48# factory hood, they don't hail dent, they de-badge the hood for a cleaner look, (unless you install the badge) and are hard to chip. Loose 28.5# in 30 minutes for $350.00 ![]() ![]()

When we get cold up here we just throw on an extra layer or a hoodie and gloves. When it is 95 degrees with 85% humidity you can guys can take off as many layers as you want and go naked and you will still be hot.
![]() Plus, think of the hp robbing hot air that your motor has to swallow versus the cold dense air we have. ![]()

I'll see if I can pull some strings with a moving company and have it trucked from Seatle.
