I had a problem seeing the pics before, but they're back up again. Exhaust looks nice Michael. Very clean.

Why does there appear to be 2 O2 sensors on the one side?

The exhaust looks great. Does the SVX benefit from a true twin system?
Also, can somebody explain, in small words, the benefit of the crossover pipe? I remember seeing old V8 exhausts that always used to have a balance pipe between the two systems and I assume this is an extension of that, but I never got clear understanding of why they were there? Thanks, Matt |

Do a search. It's been discussed. Heck it was probably discussed in the original stage 3 development thread.
--- I'll do a search and if I find something I'll edit it into this post. --- Quote:

Mr. LAN,
any evidence of exhaust resonance around 3500 rpms?

I hate to nag but I would really like an update >_<. As the snow months approach faster and faster I can't stress it enough as to how much I need to get it on the road to make sure everything is ok. Please, please tell me it is going to be shipped by the end of August. The delayed, delayed, delayed date was suppose to be end of Febuary.

As far as I know things are just getting Duckie at ECUtune.... ok corny joke....moving on.... I said MOVING ON!!! Anyway, I spoke with Michael about it a couple of days ago and he said he had some bugs to work out and now he is working on finalizing the software. The best thing I think for us to do is sit tight and let him do his work. I understand the frustration of those waiting longer than I have but believe me, it should pay off

Duckie, we're still waiting on the superchargers to get here from sweeden to test fit each system so I can put together matching sets of pulleys. It's only been a week since we got the check for the last system to put the order in. They will be here soon and I will post as each system goes out, each in short order after the last. I know all too well it's taken longer than expected to make all the changes we made from the original prototype to what the 1st batch systems have turned out to be. Every day longer this takes isn't just a day you are waiting it's another day of my time and another day of expenses I have to pay.
In the mean time I've been dealing with the demo car trying to get to where I can finalize the timing map and get some dyno numbers and track times. Unfortunately I'm having problems with this engine. It runs hot and won't take nearly as much ignition advance as my last engine or MikeCG's car likes. I've double and tripple checked everything I could with the engine in the car and am now guessing the machine shop took too much off the heads. I've pulled the engine and am putting the other engine back in as soon as a water pump and gasket I have on express order arrives. |
