I think people would have more fun at the auto X than some dinky park. Therefore...if it's not too far out of the way and if Tom doesn't mind I think it should be held then. What do you guys say? Cumberland Auto X or Frederick park?

Let me try this again! I had this post typed up earlier and right when I went to click "post" the power went out. Anyway...

MARYLAND/WEST VIRGINIA SVX MEET 2007

When: Saturday July 28th
Where: Cumberland Auto X at the airport
Directions: ask svxfiles or subi-crosser they know the area

There will also be a cookout at Tom's house after the Auto X. I ask that everyone bring at least one item.

-napkins
-plates
-plasticware
-hamburgers
-hot dogs
-buns
-side dishes
-desserts
-drinks (soda, water, etc)
-chairs
-tables
-some mallets for crabs (we can share if need be)

And anything else you can think of. I also need to know how many people want crabs. I appreciate any and all help. Thanks. I will start a list for people bring items.

Yeah that works too. I'll be bringing the claret SVX as well as one of the vans (either the big white one or the Odessey) so I can pack stuff in there like some extra tables and chairs, coolers, etc.

(2) 7 foot tables, 6 chairs, (2) tarps for shade, a 12 person tent with a seperator in the middle, It has 2 door flaps, some form of dead animal for the grill, a grill or two and all necessary grilling tools and aprons.


(Tom, do you think your neighbors would mind a 'live band'?)

I guess we could invite them!

Also, Your new neighbor's father works with me at Transit! (Found out today.)

Put an air mattress in the van and you don't have to come back sunday, you just have to WAKE UP on sunday....

Can you say " TENT CITY" for the weekend?? That way NOONE has to drink and drive ANYWHERE!
