Did 1,800 km this weekend to pick up a non-running '92 that will hopefully be an engine donor for my '97. Both are now at my mechanics for the estimate.

The '92 has a busted tranny so it came home behind my Ridgeline. Bit of an ordeal to load it onto the dolly -- had to get a tow truck to winch it on. It hasn't run in 5 years, so this could be a pig in a blanket, but here's hoping it's mostly good...

Decided to spend 5 hours and sand down my Hood. Looks much better but not perfect. The spots that look like marks you see in the front is a refection of the clouds . Camera does not do it justice

Maybe you should have it clear coated?

That is what caused the problem in the 1st place the clear got cloudy . I had to sand it off. i just had a Graphic made for the hood scoop.

Well the Roof and the Hood came out good. a little more touching up needed .

After 3+ years of SVX ownership, I have finally done the power mode mod. I kick myself for not doing it sooner, what an amazing difference. How this was not standard switchable option for USDM is beyond me.

I almost feel I need not bother with a QC unit at this point... but alas, I have one so may as well?

Bought my first svx today! And drive it all the way home. It needs need brakes and probably rotors, and has a but of rust, back wiper and antenna doesnt work, and it kinda revvs upe while cruising sometimes, but other than that, I love it!

Transmission slipping = bad news. Budget for a replacement, and expect it to go sooner or later. Drive with it in 3, not D - do not let it slip.

Get good rotors, crappy ones tend to get warped.

After 2yrs of sitting (mostly my fault) I got the trans in and am installing a new t-belt kit, waterpump, plugs and a coil pack. Its pretty dirty from sitting out, so I'm also cleaning it up. Will need a few more parts to get it road worthy, I'll be posting in the Wanted Forum.

After getting my new rear sway bar thursday im finally putting it in, finally because I feel I have waited for a very long time to do this. lol

I figured I'd do some easy work this weekend. I have a couple of dash button bulbs that weren't lighting. I was able to replace the surface-height ones, but the sunk-in ones are a pain in the arse to remove. Anyone have a good tip on how to do this?

I had the pleasure of replacing the back-up lamp switch on the mule (wagon) and figured out how I'm gonna get the clutch hydraulic hose swapped out for a stainless one. Just have to be sure the wife's around to help me bleed it.

BlackBerry got all the dust washed off and I got a start on polishing her up with the DA. Hood and roof are Gleaming!! Front fenders and doors are next.
