Now, now, Tom we all know he can do it. Its soooo easy to do he just hasn't done it yet. Then again, I'd trust our racer as a daily driver more than any one I've seen Bud behind the wheel of (and that is with our current lack of a free clutch!)

If I could help ya out I would but I'm sure you wouldn't wanna drive 100 miles for $250 a day to make a total of $600 for the year. $25k seems well within the reasonable amount as I'm sure you have closer to $40k into it at the moment. Granted 25k isn't reasonable to my pocket (or actually my wife's)

Poor tom... I saw the thread title and i was like no way, there's two of them? because the concept of tom selling his was not even considered a possibility.

Tom: Before you sell your car, sell your body. I'm sure there's some elderly overweight women that would be more than happy to give you a few hundred here and there.

I don't think he wants to sell the car, i'm prettys ure of it actually... But 25k is what it would take for him to part with it. Perhaps someone is looking to do what tom has done, and may want to bypass all the labor and headache. In parts alone there's ~25k+ in it, so anyone who wanted it would be making out on the deal.

Tom: Don't worry, i'm coming, i'll save your silver!

Wow Tom, that car is just too beautiful. I am probably the only 1 on this forum that needs this clarification but:

As is- $25,000 w/ Built motor on 12psi $30,000

What motor is in it now? The stocker with Stage 3 S/C? and what more does the built motor have?

Sorry to see you having to try and sell, you are a good guy and if you lived near me I would buy an SVX tomorrow knowing what you can do with these cars!

I'm sure you've seen the pictures of what I'm starting and the fact I have an auto that will run 4/10th's behind your 5 spd. in LS-L trim is proof enough to those that know these cars. Not to mention the fact I could take my belts off and all that other stupid crap and probably beat your 14.5 and also the fact that one missed shift or bad launch on your part and your mine. Quick whining and accept that someday soon I'm going to make you look ridiculous for spending the money you did and I'm going to do it with an auto.

My car hasn't broken down on me one single day in the past three years without getting me home unlike your "racer" that from the sounds of it still can't even change gears properly(been what, 3 months now?). Sounds like an expert 5 spd. install done by somebody.

Tom, Jason and Ben-STOP IT NOW

We split the OT stuff from the thread once and shouldn't need to do it again.

Not to drag this out any more than it already has but... If you can do all these things... what stopping you?? And for the record... My SVX would be faster in the 1/4mile with an auto that was built for more power... A quick shifting auto is faster than a 6mt anyday... SO i will end this discussion until you can back up your claims. The i can stuff needs to stop and the I did stuff can begin when you actually accomplish something you are claiming. What pics are you talking about anyway??

Sorry Todd, he has no right to come here and once again bash the fact that I spent money on my vehicle... This has been ongoing for some time. I am also tired of the great hype that he puts around himself for things he claims he can do... Tired of the bull**** thats all

It's called MONEY and it makes the world go round. Like I've said, I have a family to support and the car comes after them and business expenses.

Yes, If I can't weld it, My stepdad or one of my shop owning buddies can. And who said much welding was involved?? The picture is just proof I have the SC and that I have begun collecting all the necessary parts for the project, It doesn't reflect how it may be mounted as I am still designing and working on that. Like I said, you are severely underestimating me young one and you have since day one. You'll learn the same as everyone else does I guess....By example.

Yes, sorry Todd. I'm just tired of all the holier than thou crap from this kid and his 25,000 dollar SVX that I've listened to for over 2 years now. I'm dropping it and backing out and tomssvx is now on the ignore list.

Jeez, this got ugly fast.

Good luck with your sale Tom, I'm sure there's someone out there that is both interested and has the bankroll. Personally, I hope that you can work things out and still keep the car, it sounds like a lot of time and effort has been spent.

Thanks... I think I have given you all the wrong idea tho... I am looking at the future and how I am going to finance not being able to work as often as I had before... This is going to put some hurt on the wallet and selling my silver would not only keep me from spending on it but also help me pay the bills... So if it doesn't sell... I will keep it and right now... I am thinking that I will have this thread deleted and say screw it.... too much e-drama over the topic of dollar signs... oh well

Tom
