they put the badge on it so the STUPID TOW MAN doesnt get it confused with the non awd modles. i guess since at that time all svx were awd they left off the badges and never put them on.

Glad to hear that the badges did not make it on - much better to keep them guessing.

The only thing I am changing will be to install my JDM rear light cluster (that says Alcyone) and JDM bonnet badge - the plot and confusion will thicken even further!!

I have decided - after much thought - to leave the badges off!

I find it interesting however, that if you look at any early 90's AWD Subaru, you will find an AWD badge on it................

.......unless it is an SVX!

Jason.
would you be interested in selling them then??

I second that motion.

But Jason, you could try putting the AWD badges behind the doors or something. It may looks cool. Hope to go for a cruise with you soon. It's been a while for me. No internet...

I implore thee, don't do it!

Like that clown who put Nissan Skyline GT badges on the fender of his green SVX that I saw in Parramatta

Nissan!!!

You can relax James - I won't!

The only badge that I have placed on my SVX is a new Subaru star badge on the front - because the old one had a crack in it!

While we're on the subject of badges...

Is the "Subaru SVX" bit completely integrated into the taillight assembly, or is there some way to remove it?

It can be removed but you have to open up the assembly. This must be done carefully as other members have broken theirs trying to do this.
