Actually John worked his @ss off in the hot sun all day long and on into darkness!
 We set the beam, taking much longer than I thought, and got about eight floor joists installed. Thanks also to benebob, who helped with his over the phone carpentry expertise.

Looking good! So, the plan is to get a car on the lift, work under it, then walk upstairs and work on the top side -Bill (brand new flex plate...check, new 10mm alignment dowels (40 and 50mm lengths)....check, red locktite and blue sleeve locker...check, heat goop for exhaust system pin holes....check, four more $15/15 min spacers....still need)
