Thanks, yes they are Maxima wheels, I picked them up for resale. Two of them had tires on them, so I stuck them on to see how the looked. I really like them but they are only 6.5" wide. I might just put them on anyway.

Hey I'm checking in too...

Been a member for little over a year. I've done little posting mostly lurking. I have a 92 LS-L touring SVX
She has 98,000 and is getting a tune up now. Do all the work myself including tranny swaps. 4.11's rule.

I can not wait until it is AWD DRIFTiN time when it snows up here in Minneapolis, MN

Hey,
I just bought my 92 LS-L 2 weeks ago and I love it so far. Removed the intake resonater , put in ram air through bottom of bumper and tightened the throttle wires. Awsome car , just got winter tires, This should be better in the snow then my mustang? HAHAHA
Cant wait for the first snow!!
good luck people and thanks for all the help!!

Hello,
My SVX is in limbo awaiting a new transmission. I use this site primarily for problem-specific questions and therefore do not post very often (thank god).

Don't delete me cause I might have something useful to say someday.

Two month owner so far.
Impressions: Love the Power .
Mileage is not so bad at 24.7 average over 2000 miles so far. Bout 3/5 highway @ 65mph or better (normally better). She's got long legs.
The P/S whine is gone with a fluid change.
I am missing the little hex crank under the felt however, gonna need one of them someday to make it complete. The remote door system/alarm arming/disarming still don't work.
A shame the only way I have been able to get the tires to sound off is to punch the gas while turning a corner at 35mph. Perhaps they will spin a bit once the snow flies.
Other than that, I can see why some of you own more than one... Bout the only way to keep the mileage down on the dratted car... Such a pleasure cruiser.

Hi!

I first showed up when I was considering buying an SVX, which I did in early December 2003. It's a '92 Claret & black w/an aftermarket rear spoiler. I just moved back to the Pittsburgh area after 7 years & some change in Denver. Oddly, I did buy my SVX in Pittsburgh. My car and I have already been on our share of adventures. Not only have I driven it to Denver & eventually back, but also from Denver to San Jose & back (and on many smaller roadtrips, of course).

Hi I'm Ryu, sorry for being late to be here! I finally was able to connect online today at my new place. I'm back!

I'm a Japanese guy who fell in love with SVX, been in here in LA for couple of years. I'm really passionate about transportation design. That's why I came to LA to study car design.. More I learned about design, more I appreciate the design of SVX.
BTW, If you need to tranlate some Japanese stuffs or question, let me know! I will try my best to answer. Oh but I have to work on my English first!
