I'm moving on. Building a house and need something practical to carry stuff around... possibly a baby.

Montreal, Canada (but the car is originally american). Can drive to the states if more practical.

Major service: timing belt w/ water pump, iridium spark plugs (1 month ago), shifter cable (2 months ago), driveshaft and both front axles (6 months ago), suspension at all 4 corners (struts, shocks and top plates), alternator, brakes 4 corners disks and pads, radiator, transmission and differentials fluids

Engine Condition: very good... quiet, no ill noise or vibration.

Maintenance Records: all kept since I've had it with OEM parts invoices

Transmission condition: very good on the shifting side, probably a leak somewhere thought... trying to figure out where exactly

Glass condition: very good

Type of tire and remaining tread: Hankook Ventus with 70% left

Type of wheels: silver Drag DR19 17"

Interior condition: excellent

Body condition: very good, hood, fenders and roof recently repainted OEM color because a snow shelter collapsed on it last winter. Insurance paid.

Known defects or problems: transmission leak

Comments about the car:

I think the car is exceptional, never mind the age. Not a spot of rust, HID headlights and fogs, DVD radio with 4 new Infinity speakers

Now that is a car someone should snap up. How hard is it to reg a Canadian car. Import tax etc.?

Excellent question! I could see flying up and driving it home if all the taxes, etc. didn't make things unreasonable $$-wise.

I imported it from the states myself a while ago. I can drive it to the Plattsburg International Airport (PGB), zip code 12903. I don't know about the rules of importing it back though... I know the other way around was worth it...

I have pictures of the engine bay, but none of the trunk. I'll see if I can take some and post them tonight.

As for the transmission oil leak, it would seem it is coming from the driveshaft input into the transmission. I had the driveshaft replaced 6 months ago and maybe the seal wasn't changed or damaged. I'm debating this with the dealer that did the work.

Being able to drive it around Canada and then back into the States will make a big difference to me.

What HID kit did you use? Who did the install?

It's never been smoked in. As for the HIDs, they're APEXcone kits that I bought 3 years ago from DDM... They've never failed me. Low beams are 4300K and fogs are 6000K. Hi beams need to react quickly so I never changed them. The install was pretty straighforward and I did it myself. No rocket science there, just a matter of changing the bulbs for the bulbs/ballast kit.

You can come pick it up in Montreal as well if it makes things easier for you.

Here are more pictures. I updated the original post with more maintenance work that has been done on the car, just relisting it here to make it more clear:

The engine bay looks a little dirty, but it's been well maintainted. Again there is no body rust whatsoever.

If I was looking it would be on my bucket list. Only thing I noticed missing was the belt cover in the engine bay.

Sorry to be a pest, but a couple more questions:

1. How's the AC? It's not R12-based, is it?

2. Are you just the 2nd owner then? How many miles have you put on it?

3. How's the exhaust system? Still original, or have parts of it been replaced?

4. Is there a trans cooler installed?

5. Do you know of a Canadian web site where I could check about what's involved in purchasing a car and then driving out of Canada with it? I'm hoping that there is some sort of temporary tags I could get.
