Absolutely beautiful car! Good luck with the sale. It's far too nice for me to own.
Was the former owner legally blind. By the look of the wheels he/she was parking by feel. |

Great looking car. When was the car repainted? The dead giveaway is the front bumper.

Front bumper painted before I got it ... I had rear bumper painted the week after I bought it (May 2004).

Re: Selling my 1997 Brilliant Red - 62K
RUST?? Just curious... We already have 2 fantastic SVX's... one silver and one pearl, both with less miles than "your red" has... but we don't have a "red" one.
A bit surprised that you did not respond to my inquire, since you were there both times I posted the question. We also fly free so we "could have" easily "came to see it" Keith |

Underneath looks very clean. Not a rust bucket by a long shot. I won't even drive it in the rain.

Re: Selling my 1997 Brilliant Red - 62K
Mr Bill...
I would highly recommend that you make arrangements for driving a substantial number of miles in in your SVX and then do the same in that "New Outback thing" before selling a car that is twice the car that any new Subaru is. This is from a guy that loves Subaru and without my great SVX's I would be driving a new Subaru! It almost seems like you haven't driven your SVX enough to tell what the heck you really have... Also... history will bear me out but this form is not exactly the best way to sell a nice SVX. Most people here are struggling to simply find a way to keep their sun visor from sagging without having to replace it. Keith |

Re: Selling my 1997 Brilliant Red - 62K
Wow ! That is a nice car - someone is going to get real lucky !
We never got tan interior here in the UK - looks great though. Good luck with the new outback - I have a 2012 MY Outback Diesel - its a fantastic car but is completely different to my SVX thats for sure ! ps another option is to get a larger garage so you can keep it - I just have for all mine !
