Just wondering, does anyone know what the difference between the awd and front wheel drive svx's are? I guess the fwd would be lighter but the awd would get the better launch.

The AWD vs FWD is only around 100 lbs difference FYI... Not worth the loss of traction.

I'll admit, 20-anything, a fwd SVX will blow away an awd all things equal, but off the line, in "normal" circumstances, it's way too easy to break traction in a FWD. I was merely stating what I did because most people seem to have the misconception that the FWD SVX is "so much" lighter than an AWD, but in the same trim, there is very little weight savings. |

Well, i am glad that you pointed that out because i myself thought the AWD would be much heavier. I would definately rather have my AWD instead of a FWD, though i have been running mine in FWD with the fuse in.
