cam sensor needed

anyone have a good cam sensor? How much?

I read that a cam sensor from any 90's subaru should work, is that true? I found a new one for 93 imprezza cheap at advanced auto.

I think you sent me a text. Sorry I didn't respond at all.
A 90's Subaru sensor will work by splicing the wires.
Otherwise $50 shipped and I can send you a known working sensor, Gene.

The one I need is the one on the drivers side head, From what I seen the connector is the same for the 93 imprezza though I was not able to check it, just looked at the pictures of the 2.
I will let you know if I need it. it will be a few weeks.

Yeah, there is only one cam sensor. It may be the same or slightly different. Even if different, it can still be used, same case with all knock sensors from Subaru's.

(I guess you could say technically 2 as the exact same part is also used as the crank position sensor)
