out of the $2,000 i have $600
been repairing my XT6

i'm done for awhile, my insurance company is not happy with me. i didnt have the outback on the road for a month and i take it off and get my XT6 back on.
i have done this with them many times.

That's too bad... I was hoping you would be buying something. As I said . The few hours travel and the few 100 dollars more for a drivable SVX is worth it . WORK on an SVX is a 4 letter word $ and time wise . You could find one for $1,200 and spend $4,000 fixing it or find one for $2,500 and not spend a dime for 2 years. Save your money and keep the XT 6 running . IMHO the SVX is not your kind of car.

i plan on keep my xt6 going, instead of buying another car i need to spend my money wisely, instead of blowing it.

to be honest an your Honest Opinion is right, not yet atleast.

My XT6:

frame is bent over half an inch and gonna cost me $200 to have it fixed.
then paint ect...

That car is actually rarer than the SVX . It would be worth putting the $2,000 into and make it really a nice ride . I have not seen one in 10 years up close and personal. I went to a SUBI Rally today. I was the only SVX among 44 WRX and 20 Legacy turbo &'/GT's and OB's and a few Foresters and a couple Imprezas ..Your XT6 would have drawn a crowd.

and to think i bought it from the original owner back in 2007.
an azhole ran stop sign and all 4 tires locked up but it was to late. a quick errrt bam ! my xt6's brakes are stop on a dime and that still wasn't good enough.

It's about 5 and a half hours to the NYC metro area of jersey. I drive there from our area about twice a month. It's a very, very easy drive. I used to fly, but with all of the security regulations in place, i found it generally faster to drive.
