A '97 Claret just sold in Ottawa for $2,250.00 with 70,000 mile (113,000 km). I was crying that I didn't have the cash to make it mine.

Yeah, I know just a few years ago anything with under 100K was going for $5,000 and up. Good deals these days, a sign of the economy being bad.

That would be Bordeaux.

This would be a low cost way to get back into the SVX. I really miss mine. What I REALY want though is a Laguna Blue LSi. Think Earl would part with one?

If it was black I would seriously think of going after it. I can't see myself in a red one though.

wasnt claret only made in 92? According to the number there were only 61 clarets ever made and they were in 92.

It was already clarified that if it was a maroon 97, it is bordeaux, and as I said on the other forum, I could almost guarantee that there are a ton more than 61 clarets made as I've personally seen or seen on craigslist/ebay that many, and probably more... Other than that, you are correct that it was only a 92 color...

yeah, i have seen a lot too but there is a production color list and it has 61 for claret and another color was even less. I have saw a lot though.

That is not a production list, that is the list of registered SVX's that Earl is compiling. He has 427 on the list and about 60 of them are Claret. They sold something like 15,000 92's so this list missing quite a few.

Thats not the list i was talking about. I am going to look for it again. it was a break down of all years options and colors. It told how many of every color was made for every year.

Ha, rolleyes! If they had sold 15,000 '92s, they'd probably still be making them. I'd guess 61 '92 clarets is a lot closer to reality than you're imaginings.
