Comments about the car: I am a full believer in full disclosure, so I’m going to be much more detailed than I probably need to. I purchased the SVX in February 2009, from a Subaru dealer in New Jersey, traded in on a new WRX from what I understand. Best I can tell, CARFAX verified I am the second owner and the car appears to have been in New Jersey all it’s life. When I purchased it, it had about 74,000 miles on it, the clear coat was peeling over the majority of the car (the hood pitted with chips), and the OEM wheels were peeling. I promptly cleaned it up, and was not happy with the appearance. I took it to Maaco in Bethlehem PA and had it sprayed the original Laguna Blue Pearl with Dupont paint. They sanded down the wipers which were all rust coated (the only rust I saw on the car) and painted flat black. All vin stickers intact, no panels replaced. The body did have a very few small dings prior to the paint job that were not addressed. They are only noticeable from certain angles, I cannot really capture them with my camera. This is not a $5,000 paint job, it looks good, it does have a speck of dirt here or there, and a very little over spray on the black trim here or there. They taped the muffler and pipes, if you get down on the ground and look up, you can see a little overspray. I personally did not care because I planned to replace the exhaust from the cat back with something a little more aggressive, and as I said, you can’t see it. I’d give it an 8 overall, really night and day from the OEM job that had been subjected to 13 years of abuse from the elements. Since it was painted, it has endured a few tiny chips, I have touched it up, again, hard to see and overall the car shows really well. There is some slight cracking in the paint on the spoiler (about a 1.5 inch line the width of the tip of a pen), the shop did not sand the spoiler down as evenly as the could have on the one side. I took it back to the shop in the winter, and planned to bring it back in the summer, fixed free of charge under warranty, just have never made it there. I have a tube of OEM paint from Subaru, a perfect match to the Dupont paint. As mentioned, the OEM wheels were peeling and bubbling when I bought the car. I found the STI wheels on Craigslist, they were original take offs back in 2007 and were purchased for another STI. He went through a divorce, and they have been boxed up until about 6 months ago when I picked them up. Very minimal, if any marks of any kind. The OEM CD/Tape worked fine, and I debated replacing them. I have them in a box, about 2 months ago I pulled them and installed a Clarion CD player, it’s from 2005 and was in my Mustang previously. It’s 220 watts, has an aux cable for Ipod, etc, and has over 200 color combinations to match the dash or any other color you may like. I wanted something as close to the dash lighting as possible. The front door speakers were toast, I replaced them with set of perfect fitting OEM 2006 Outback speakers purchased new from Subaru. The tweeters and 6X9’s are fine, the stereo sounds awesome now, much clearer and louder with the higher powered head unit. Besides an oil change, I have done nothing else and have none of the paperwork from the previous owner. From my inspection, there is a remanufactured Subaru alternator installed, and a newer Interstate battery. Beyond this, everything appears to be OEM. All mechanicals, lights, etc work. The two smaller rear windows are slow to go up and down, new motors likely needed. AC is cold, heat is hot, transmission shifts smooth, no weird bearing noises or other noises for that matter. The engine is smooth, the smallest amount of oil will leak in my garage, not enough to fill between oil changes, probably an gasket needing to be replaced. The interior is mint, no rips in the leather, I have cleaned the inside top to bottom twice, including the leather with leather cleaner. The driver seat is soft, the others a bit harder to the touch. A few more good leather treatments will likely soften it up. Carpet and the rest of the trim looks new. Original manual with the car. To the best of my knowledge, that is everything. The car is really beautiful, I’d drive it anywhere, any distance with confidence. It is 14 years old, it’s not new, anything is obvious possible, but I can truthfully say it is one of the nicest best kept cars I’ve owned. This is my 5th Subaru. My wife and I have an 18 month old, she loves riding in her car seat in the back. The car only goes out in nice weather, and really spends 95% of the time in the garage. I live in a small house (think a cul-de-sac with a series of town homes, about 14 homes in total) with a one car garage. Space is at a premium and parking is a nightmare. Every time I want to drive it, I have to move my other two cars to get it in and out. What a pain! If not for that I’d drive it more, and probably would not even be thinking about selling. If you have any questions or would like a specific picture of a certain area, don’t hesitate to ask. PM any questions, I will try to check in daily. Can provide more photos if needed. PA inspection/emissions good until 2/11. Thanks for looking!

Asking price: $6500
