These lights are lit on the dash:
Steering
Battery Stop Lamp Break What do I need? a new alternator? It died at a light last night when the woman was driving it. but started right back up and she made it home. She said it was light for a good 30 miles. Thanks Greg

It went bad because you don't have your car registered.
 It is pretty strait forward, but look in the How-To Docs.  The Electrical section found here following this link, will help you out. Good luck on the project.
