New Subie in the stable!
Wednesday we picked up a 2005 Legacy GT, to replace my wife's 91 Legacy turbo. Dark blue with black leather interior, just rolled over to 56,000 miles today, in real nice shape, has like one scratch on one of the doors. Only bad thing is it's the 5 speed slush-o-matic, but my wife said she'd prefer an automatic, and since she's gonna be the one driving it most of the time, I didn't care :P Now I just have to sell the old car, and my other 2 cars, so I can get the rest of the 5 speed stuff for the SVX

I love that body style, probably the nicest body the Legacy had ever had. Great Color and Interior, low miles and a GT too. Nice find.

congrats! I have an 08 Spec B 6 speed and absolutely love it. Be sure to register at Legacygt.com. There's a wealth of info available there as well. I'm at stage 2 with mine and haven't stopped smiling.
Also make sure that the recall issues were taken care of. I believe there was something with a banjo bolt and an oil return line.

I don't think this one's covered under the oil return line recall, but I will check. So far I've changed the oil, and upgraded the firmware in the engine computer and the tranny computer. Got paid to do the engine computer cuz it was still covered under the emissions warranty :P

Regal blue is the only other color I would have purchased, other than my Garnet Red Pearl 2005 GT Limited. At least in terms of the USDM colors. A WR-blue JDM Legacy looks even better.
Just put Rev.A JDM Bilstein dampers and STI springs on mine. BIG improvement, although probably a bit on the firm side, compared to USDM spec B, Rev.C, or HD aftermarket specification Bilsteins.
