Just saw the earlier posting about the dealerships. Don't you find that kind of expensive?

Where are you Colorado SVX owners getting your cars worked on?
Unfortunately my mechanic passed away, and I've had trouble finding people willing to work on my SVX. Any recommendations in Denver?

well, i think i paid s-wings stuff $1300 to do a brake job and a r-134a conversion and that was with supplying my own rotors, discs, and lines. the brakes didn't feel right after that either. i ended up trading that svx a month later.

also, i gave roos only about $1200 to fix a problem when i first got said svx that never did get resolved.

so yes, the dealer gets to work on my car. sure it's expesnive, but it gets done right and done quickly. and when i was closer to burt, they also gave me a loaner car for major service.

on saturday evening about 5:15, my buddy spotted this red svx in green mountain area at union blvd. and florida av.

I've worked with Roo's as well. Not a fan.
Well hopefully we can get this latest issue fixed. I think it might have eaten ball bearings again (at least I hope that's the worst).

Roos quoted me over $3k to do my tranny swap, even though I have all the parts. Screw that place.

Well I'm about ready to throw in the towel. I had the SVX taken into the shop and it isn't just the bearings...it's the hub. The problem is they can't find any, and would have to have it shipped in (more time, more money). I don't know that it's worth it to keep this car anymore. Thing is, I'm not sure now how to get rid of it.

Hi all! It's been quite some time and I need help, haha... I recently was in an accident that totaled my 96 Impreza L rallycross/daily driver car. I've been looking eVerywhere for another car and I came across a 92 SVX for sale up in Evergreen... what are some things that I need to be aware of?

It has had some work done:

Has rebuilt transmission with about 14k miles ago, All Wheel Drive, New tires, new brakes, new struts, new wheel bearings, high performance-cold air intake filter

Anything else that I need to keep in mind? I know the tranny, struts, and wheel bearings are a plus...
