except for the tranny swap and the emergency alternator and radiator replacement, all of my work has been done at a dealer. either burt (groove) in englewood or go west (john elway) in golden.

on wednesday morning at 8:24, i saw the golden claret in the usual place.

on friday, i was on mail duty and guess what i saw as i pulled into the black hawk post office:

i went into the post office and met the owner. i let him know of our network and i hope he shows up. here's another pic i took after talking to him for few minutes:

That looks like my neighbor's car growing up! It's been a long time, and I thought he used the Pinecliffe post office, but I seem to remember seeing those stickers last time I saw the car. Maybe he's sold it to somebody local, or moved up the road a bit.

If his name's Rodney and you see him again, tell him Kit said hi. That car had a lot to do with my obsession early on.
