Oh, quick one you are.

Let's just say I have plans for it. You of all people should know, John.

And I still need emails from two more people. If you don't let me know by sunday, you'll be getting blue!

Re: who wants an aftermarket rear sway bar?

I finally had the honor of driving my car with this modification installed. With other issues being higher priority (my engine), I did not have high expectations nor really cared about that aspect of my car. Knowing that my suspension has seen better days, I didn't expect to notice any difference with this sway bar in. I didn't........ at first.

I haven't driven my car... in a while, before today. Taking the road of modifying an SVX is proving to be a very dumb and childish choice, have been losing hope. Well, onto the positive, my engine is finally running... and so I drove the car back home today... with some issues popping up on the way I still did not pay much attention, and almost forgot about that blue sway bar up until I took an exit ramp, my first reaction was "something is wrong" it felt unusual, felt like I lost traction because I didn't feel the orthodox roll and heavy pull coming from the rear. I looked back over my shoulder to check if everything was okay... came out of the turn and only then I remembered... about that blue thing that just changed the way my car feels, sooo much that it feels unusual. This mod is under priced for what it does to our cars! The rear is glued to the road unlike ever before.

Thanks Nevin for coming up with this and sorry for my delayed review/comments on it!

Hey Steve, glad to hear you're interested!

There will actually be no more "list." In upcoming sales everything will just be sold in "group buy" format. That is... first come first serve.

Just pay attention, and you'll find out when though.

After these are done the next batch probably won't be ready to go until mid-march, so yeah... just pay attention to the thread and possibly in the "bulk buy" forum and you'll find out when it's going on.

Thanks again!

Re: who wants an aftermarket rear sway bar?

I also forgot to mention that the bars are all now at the powdercoater. I had planned on taking them up yesterday but he was gone for the weekend, so I just took them up tonight!

Anyway, they should be ready by friday or saturday, so I'll probably pick them up next weekend sometime, then they should be ready to go shortly after that.

Re: who wants an aftermarket rear sway bar?

Here's an update for the day.

I just got off the phone with the powdercoater calling to tell me that the bars are done and ready to be picked up.

I plan on getting them tomorrow night, giving them a final inspection, and then I'll be emailing all who are on "the list" as to where and when to send payment for said merchandise.

Expect an email from me either saturday or sunday, and then we should be just about ready to go. Also, after payment is made, please give me a week or so to get them out to you. I work all day monday-friday so I can't often get to the UPS store before they close, but I do what I can and none of you will be shortchanged. You will all recieve your product as quickly as I am able to send it to you.

IF YOU ARE ON THE LIST AND HAVE NOT EMAILED ME YET, PLEASE DO. DO NOT PM ME, EMAIL ME. And remember, if you have not emailed me already, your color is blue. I just want to know if everyone is still "in."

Again, my email is nevinbontrager@gmail.com

Thank you to all of you for your cooperation!

Re: who wants an aftermarket rear sway bar?

So what if enough of us line up before mid-March? Aswell you never responded about the endlinks... Think I could get a quote on a rear sway and full set of the endlinks. Remember I'm willing to pay you the finders fee for getthe the endlink parts. I just don't have the time myself between two cars getting worked on and meets going on everyother week and work and trying to start relations with a female!

Don't remind me. I keep being right past you(like tonight) either in a hurry or WAY too late... Different girl by the way now. That one in Worchester... once she pays me back I probably won't even TRY talking to her. You can't just NOT talk to someone for a week before their BDay and then ON their BDay not even make any attempt...

/threadjack

yes yes Want rear sway! Aside form engine and fixing exhaust i'm re going over the suspension and calling it quits on the SVX till the Impreza is DONE.

Re: who wants an aftermarket rear sway bar?

Good news. Swaybars are back and they look, how shall we say... AWESOME! Here's a picture of each color I did this time, keep in mind that blue is normal and the others are special request.

Remember, this is not all of the bars, just examples of the 4 different colors.

Those on "the list" keep your eyes peeled for an email from me sometime soon.

p.s. My costs have gone up ever so slightly, so this batch will be $5 more than the last. It will now be $250 shipped in the lower 48 states for a blue bar, and $260 for any other color (unless you've heard different from me in your email.) Thank you for understanding.

Correct. I'll get everything setup and ok'd by a moderator and post it in the bulk-buy forum when the time has come. First come, first serve. Once that sale is over, you'll have to wait for the next one!

Change of subject....

I'm still not sure what to do for color though, as people like things other than blue. But honestly, it's such a hassle to change colors, to do special ones for everyone and all that. I do like how the black looks though, I may just change it to that for upcoming sales also. Black tends to match everything.

But I may have 3 colors for sale (red, blue, black) and just raise the price $5 accross the board, too. I'm still deciding what to do. Any input from the rest of you?

And honestly, what other manufacturer could you request a color from on a component like this? You order teins, you get green; you order takata you get green; KW? yellow and purple! And besides, I have a sneaking feeling that if I only made canary yellow that people would still buy them. Because they work!

Sorry, I don't mean to vent... just sharing.

Black is good. Honestly, how often do you actually see it? I'm in (hopefully) on the next batch.
