Dayle, the fuel pump is not in the tank, it is under the car, right in front of the passenger side rear wheel.....easy to get to....usually the bolts snap due to rust....you might be lucky enough to not have that to deal with

Try feeding the pump direct power and ground to see if it is actually bad.

spent a few hours on it a few weeks ago...
lines dont seem to be plugged, but not sure if
they are sealed at the compressor..
starts and runs fine....
after warm up it smokes a little, but it also sat here
in the warm desert for 3 yrs off and on. So that may go
away if its driven more. It could even be stuff sitting in the
cat from time and when it warms up it starts to burn off.
Hate to sell it too, but the reality is, I can only keep maybe 5
cars and Im way past my limit

I have so many cars and so little room and time to
work or drive them, it makes more sense to pass it on to someone who can take the time to work on it.
I have about 4 other cars I can sell first, which is what Ill do first
