Yes, there's an o-ring on it. I replaced mine a couple months ago.

It should be at the top. It is similar to the oil dipstick.

I figured it out. The o-ring is actually about 2 inches down from the top on mine. The old one was so petrified, I thought it was part of the plastic part that holds the o-ring in. I cut it out with an x-acto knife and put a new one in...tight as a drum...

Great! They do get very hard and don't look like an O-ring anymore.

The parts diagram on Subaru Parts lists the o-ring as 13.8x1.9 p/n 806913060. Anybody able to translate? O-ring usually have three dimensions. Thanks. Bill Z
