For sale:
Complete 2V7F setup Miles of use: 6K (slightly less) over one years time Chip: 2v7F w/ switching lead and a sticker MAF: new Z32 from NAPA, still have the box and receipt Connector: got from (Ed Kelly, owner) Z clinic in Austin Injectors: from RB25det, Have papers from Mr. Injector who did a ‘rebuild’ on them with new screens/ filters, pintle caps and O-rings. Flow benched and have paper work on it. (flowed 384cc's) Plugs are modified to accept the stock SVX injector wiring harness. No cut/splice needed for these, unlike others. I am building a new set-up and no longer have a use for this stuff. I also have the stock injectors and MAF w/ plug for those interested. I have about $900 in this set-up and enjoyed the E85 side of the chip. PM me an offer while keeping in mind that I am not selling some random used injectors and MAF. Aside from the MAF connector all the parts are rather close to new.

All I can say is that E85 smells funny and the low to mid range torque was increased according to my butt. I am going whith a real build on a second motor I bought w/ stand alone that will require 555 cc injectors at the least. This (stage 2)is something I have now outgrown. Having felt the difference the fuel makes on a stock motor I can't help being compelled to up the ante. If you read up on the fuel you will see why I can't help myself in stepping things up a notch or three.

bump
Take a look at this: http://www.smallcar.com/index.php?ac...&productId=107 I would sell mine for almost half that since it is slightly used. Sounds like a great deal to me. It's a great way to spend your tax refund.

Re: Fs: COMPLETE ECUTune 2v7F setup
RB injectors are also 370cc? Is this going to require a wideband to be used?

Injectors are rated at 370, but after being worked on, the flow bench said they were actually 384 give or take a couple of cc's. In reallity the fact that they all flowed so close to each other means more than the actual rating. In this case you actually know what you are getting cause I had them tested. I spent $120 having them tested just for the piece of mind. There is no need for a wideband for any reason for this system to operate fully. A wideband in this setup would be strictly informative but would have nothing to do with the operation of this. If you have any other Q's then feel free to ask. Thanks for the interest.

Re: Fs: COMPLETE ECUTune 2v7F setup
Man, I would really love to get that for the E85 conversion alone, but I'm afraid I don't have that much money to spend. Good luck with the sale!

Re: Fs: COMPLETE ECUTune 2v7F setup
I'm very interested, and ready to purchase now. There's an E85 station a couple blocks from my work, and it's only $2.35 a gallon there.

Re: Fs: COMPLETE ECUTune 2v7F setup
One man's expensive is another man's bargain. My 91 octane is over $3/gal, so the relative price is similar to yours. I'd love to increase my performance, save money on fill-ups, and stop burning dead dinosaurs, but back to my original question: If E85 burns much hotter than gasoline, then will I need to upgrade my cooling system to make this work? Would my stock exhaust get cooked by the hotter emissions? I couldn't find any instances of this being used without an upgraded exhaust, cooling, etc. and while this is in my plans I wonder if this all needs to be done before the upgrade to Stage 2v7f. Advice from the Brain Trust always is appreciated, I wouldn't adjust my seat without checking with you guys first. Thanks.

E85 is 27-33% less thermal energy by volume than regular gas. It in turn burns colder. No need for cooling system upgrade. I would just figure that you are seeing cars with multiple upgrades on each car because all systems off the vehicle can be improved upon and people who have gone to the length to change their fuel system have also opted to upgrade their cars breathing or cooling systems.

Re: Fs: COMPLETE ECUTune 2v7F setup
I've read up on it further and found that fact out. It's lower energy also results in needing the big injectors and so on. Is the mileage considerably less than with Premium? One site talked about corroding fuel lines on older cars. Is your fuel pump or any lines upgraded as well. Like I said, I want to improve some of this car's weaknesses, and this chip is high on the list, but I want to make sure I don't need to expedite some of these other things to go first.
And thanks for getting back to me. ![]() Quote:
