Re: SVX parts... a ton!
I figured. Just didn't know if you had any laying around. I have checked several sites and seem to be able to get them at subaruparts.com for around $60 for the OEM. Are the Timkin really worth the extra $40?

Re: SVX parts... a ton!
I honestly do not know. I have not had to rebuild one to date. best to start calling around to local shops to see if they can do it or know of a place to get it done

Re: SVX parts... a ton!
Have you spoken with a dealer?? Many times they will shy away from the SVX but on occasion you will find one that will do it because some of their customers have been bringing theirs in since new and the techs are familiar with them.

Re: SVX parts... a ton!
Dealers around here are worse than independent mechanics. Plus the part will be outrageously expensive. It's all about outbacks and imprezas here...svx is a foreign term.

Actually you can buy Timken or Federal bearings for just under $50 per wheel. Cheaper than OEM. Price $47.72 plus $5.95 shipping for Timken 516003 bearing. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Timke...Q5fAccessories Lee
