On the SVX and my M3 I just cut the extra wires off. I left a short piece of wire in the grommet to seal the holes.

Re: HID kits on the cheap.
They arrived today. Never got a shipping label or an email stating it was shipped. Had to pay $45 worth of custom fees. Not impressed with the packaging at all considering I know how UPS handles boxes. Hopefully they work.

Re: HID kits on the cheap.
I didn't quite understand where to put the grommet...so it's just chilling behind my headlamp for now...

I believe that it is for a different style of headlight system.

Re: HID kits on the cheap.
What could they have done so you wouldn't have to pay customs?

Re: HID kits on the cheap.
Never saw this post. I don't mind paying. Just sucks when you have to pay $7 taxes and then a $35 broker fee :S

Re: HID kits on the cheap.
I don't know anyone in the states and it'd probably end up costing about the same.

Re: HID kits on the cheap.
Just installed my HID's after a forever wait for them to come. I have 35watt/6000k low, and 35watt/3000k fogs and I'm very happy the way they look and the lighting is great.
