'93 AE, Crashed, For Sale in Vermont

Hello,

I have 1993 SVX Anniversary Edition with 79,942 a that was in an accident. The car hit a guard rail and so the left side is damaged and the car is not drivable. However, the transmission is nearly new and the engine is in very good condition. This would make a very good parts car, except for the left side body panels (and left suspension I believe).


The transmission is almost new (replace by Subaru, less than 5,000 miles I believe). There are also a new alternator and new power steering pump. Other components are in very good condition.

The car is located in Norwich, Vermont. I am asking $1500, but am somewhat flexible as I do not know what is fair. Unfortunately I cannot part it out so the car must be sold intact.

All interior in very good condition, stereo removed

Body condition:
Hood: one quarter size minor dent
Trunk lid: good, paint chipped in spots
Right front panel: v. good
Right door: v. good
Right rear: 2” x 4” dent under light
Left side & front & rear bumpers trashed

Known defects or problems:
it looks like left front frame was bent in slightly
Left rear suspension broke (wheel pushed back).



Comments about the car:

The car is not worth repairing. However the compenents (except for left side body) are in excellent shape. The transmission has hardly any miles and was from Subaru. The engine has been very well maintained, as has the interior. It should be bought as a parts car.

I have a total of 42 - 93s that I know of and put every one down that I find. There was a total of 301 produced for the US (25 anniversary editions) and I try to keep the list as current as possible. If the car is parted out, I list it as well so we can document the known cars.

Upon reconsideration I am lowering the price for the car. I'm asking $950 but that is negotiable. As I mentioned before the engine and (especially) transmission are in good condition, so I don't want to go too low.

Taking the accident part aside, one can clearly notice that the car was in mint condition!
