FS/WTT-NNJ: '87 Trans Am WS6 for SVX
Looking to trade for an SVX. Price-wise, I'll place it at $4000obo:
'87 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 97xxx miles Automatic 305 Hooker headers Magnaflow exhaust 3" piping Fiberglass Ram-Air Hood Fiberglass wing Remote Starter/Door lock/unlock. Just did tune up w/NGK Iridium plugs, wires, etc. Matrix Bucket seats (comes with stockers too) All options, including rare t-bar set. Needs: Heater core replaced. I have the part and will most likely put it in on Monday (20 minute job, don't have to remove the dash for this one). I'll remove this part of the ad once I get it done. Needs a rear. Fairly inexpensive and easy to replace. This actually opens up the opportunity to pick and choose what kind of rear and what gearing you would want. If I replace it, price will most likely go up. That's pretty much it. One dent on the pass. side 1/4 panel, but it's an easy fix. Drive perfect. |

It has a 700R4 transmission, and I think it's one of the actual axles. You have no problems whatsoever driving it (just got back from a 440 mile round trip yesterday to help run a breast cancer charity show in South Jersey), but it does grind. Whatever it is, it's definitely cheaper to just replace the rear than to try and fix this one, since they're all over the place. |

That's the only engine shot I have from a while ago. The SVX has to be in great condition. Has to drive/shift perfectly, like this does. A small dent won't kill me, but it can't be an eyesore. I'm not desperate for a trade, the TA is an awesome car in all departments right now. I'd just like to get an SVX again if someone has one to offer for it. |
