I'm pretty sure there are drain plugs on the engine, you'll need a 17 or 19mm hez socket (I can't remember the exact size, but I'm pretty sure it's 19mm) and an impact wrench. They're usually in pretty tight, you might be able to get 'em with a breaker bar and extension but impact gun is best. Buzz 'em out, let the water drain, pour some clean water in the top, let it run out till it's clear, put the plugs back in. (Might want to put some threat sealant on them) They need to be tight but be careful, you don't want to strip the threads out! Other way is to go get one of those Prestone flush-and-fill kits, they tee into one of the heater hoses, and you connect a garden hose and run it until it comes out clear. It's easier than pulling the drain plugs..

If I pulled plugs out of the engine, I would want to use some of this to keep the threat of stripping them with that cheater bar.

I always use distilled water for flushing. Tap water and well water have minerals I don't want in the coolant system. I think this is more imporatant than flushing. Using water without minerals prevents mineral build up in the coolant system. I think I have rotted out a few radiators by flushing with city water way back when I started to drive. I don't flush with a hose under pressure anymore and I don't use that coolant system flush chemicals any more. It is working fine. No junk inside the raditor when I look in even after 3 years. I change the coolant every three years. Drain and fill with Coolant and distilled water 50/50. Take care

Non distilled water allows for electrolytic erosion which loves to attack aluminum.
