Survivor of the 10th anniv. meet

Hi.. it's my first day to see this site or post. Luckily, Scott knew it existed so we could keep up with the details for the meet. I used to post on Yahoo once in a blue moon. Anyway... we're back! Scott's at work and I am trying to relate to a world where there is only ONE SVX when I look outside my window. In Lafeyette, I could see the display lot from my room..and between that, the dinner where the Baja made it's debut, and the trip to the Indianapolis MotorSpeedway (the drive there was a RIOT... can't wait to here how the road videos came out), so I got used to seeing at least 40 SVXes at a time. The first stop on the way home, where we were the only SVX in the MickeyD's parking lot was..... emotionally shattering!

It was nice meeting you all... we had a great time... hope everybody else gets home safely after the tour and lunch today!

Your post reminded me to go and visit the "old site" on Yahoo, hadn't been there in a year. That place is now like a morgue! Total of 17 posts this month - less than 1 per day. I remember when at least 60 posts a day was the norm.

Shows how irritating advertising schemes can chase off even the most dedicated (and why we'll be paying dues).

I know Yahoo has eliminated/reduced/merged many groups. Could they be trying to reduce total traffic in their "groups" areas???

yeah, I came home, and my svx is lonely....

there are only 3 other svx's in town, and they I dont see them hardly at all....
I need to get it around the 70 or so svx's again soon !

hope everyone made it home safe !

and cant wait to see all the pics... I will try to get the video I took posted somewhere, so those of you with a highspeed connection and look at it !

Dang it! I can't get the video to load. I click the link and it just freezes on the blue "Q" -- Is it just me?

I had problems also. I got it to work after letting it load for about ten minutes.

yeah, I uploaded it wrong, so you have to let the whole thing load before you can watch it... you just have a big blue Q untill it loads all the way..

I can change that, if people have problems with it

I couldn't get it to work right either, I let it totaly load, but all I got was the sound, I've probably got an old version of Quicktime, so that's most likely my problem.
