Talking New wheels

I was talking it over with my dad, and he agrees that I need new tires. While we were at it, I was planning on getting new rims as mine are currently scratched and attract a lot of road dirt. Problem is, I don't have much money and he doesn't want those "expensive" (read: aftermarket) rims. So I was looking on eBay, and the WRX Impreza stock rims look pretty nice. Here's a link:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1843437974

They'll do the job, and they look sportier than the stock ones, IMO. But my question is: Will they fit the SVX? If I am in fact getting the stock WRX rims, I know that said pair on eBay might not be the exact set I'm getting.. Just wondering if they will fit or not..

Thanks!
Scott

Sorry Scooch, The bolt pattern on those is 5x100. The SVX is 5x114 or 5x4.5 in.

Ok, haha.. Thanks =P

So what are the OTHER limitations to wheel sizes? Other than the 5x114 bolt pattern..

For ex, would any of the following fit?

http://www.discounttiredirect.com/dt...odeIndex=76175

http://www.discounttiredirect.com/dt...odeIndex=72569

i wish i knew more about tire sizes

Well, the stock wheel is 16x7.5in with a 55mm offset and 56mm centerbore. Outside of the bolt pattern and centerbore, the only restriction is whether they will fit in the wheelwell without rubbing. Keep it simple just go to the home page of www.discounttiredirect.com or www.tirerack.com (lots of info) click in SVX and see what comes up. Search the forums here for tire and wheel info and you will have enough to keep you busy for a week or so. Boone

Cool! Thanks for the info.

Yeah, I looked up a '92 SVX, and those two wheels I had up earlier were search results.

Thanks again!
