Avid's
Thanks to everyone who replied. I will likley go with the Avids because they are around $30 less per tire at tirerack. Hopefully they will work well for me.

i used to have them on the svx. and basically: you get what you pay for. they are cheap all season tires. They are not spectacular in the dry or wet or snow. I would definately not buy them again, and rather go with a dedicated set of summers & another set of winters. But if you are looking for a cheap set of mediocre all season tires then these tires will work perfectly for you.
Mine wore down completely to the threads in about a year and a half.

I'm not going to lie, they do last long for the price. Mine were installed at 90,000 miles and I didn't replace them till about 130k so I got a good amount of life out of them. They didn't get noisy until about 20k.

I had them on my car too. For me, they didn't last very long. Perhaps I put more city mileages. They're noisy when get old and the sidewall start cracking. They're the least expensive V rated all season I could find. I like the Bridgestone more later on.

Had the avid v4's on the wife's svx and I could get it sideways when accelerating/turning from a stop. Not a very sticky tire. Very soft sidewall too. I guess they were decent for a cheap all season but I wouldn't buy them again.
