Don't get pissed, send the author a note with the quote and let them know that comparing courses, you learn 3 times as much in a psych class as compared to the lower valued anthropology course. They'd probably never open it but it would allow you to blow off some steam.

Did your teacher write the book? If so, you might want to leave it alone - at least until you get the grade.
