The description says the colour is "Lead Mica" (Red Mica?) which is colour code #947 according to JamSVX's site.

Code 947 is known as "Ruby Pearl Metallic" in the other parts of the world.

It sure is a nice combination Lee.

In Japan it is rare, and is known as Lead Mica. I cling to the belief this is a mistake in translation somewhere back along the line, it should be Red Mica.

The paint code is 247, and it is known in Europe as either Red Mica or Swiss Ruby Mica.

In reality the camera taking these pictures has made it much more "cherry", deeper than it is. There is a more pink tinge to it than appears here. If you look up US paint codes, this colour appeared on some Legacys in the early 90s. Over here, I have seen it on pre-2000 Foresters.

It's a very pretty colour, even if not a cherry as can be seen here. Check Bipa's locker, her car in Germany is this colour.

I'm not making any suggestion about paint fade. I'm saying the camera has given this an untrue rendition of the actual red colour.
